Mr. Dudley owned
and operated Matagamon Wilderness Camps and Campground for 33
years, Maine master guide for 45+ years. Lifetime member Maine
Professional Guides Association, board member since 2002,
chairman of board for two terms. Board member of Maine Guides
Education Fund since inception, president since 2011. Served as
chair of Sportsman Forest Landowners Alliance 2013-14, 23 years
on Governors Landowners Sportsman Relations Council and
Landowners Sportsman Relation Advisory Board. Served on numerous
task forces, groups and committees for IF&W and MPGA. Currently
serving second three-year term on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife
Advisory Council, presently chair.

Mr. Tobey is a Registered Maine Guide, a property caretaker, and
builder of Grand Lake Canoes and paddles. He serves on the board
of the Grand Lake Stream Guides Association and is chairman of
the board for the Maine Professional Guides Association.
Currently serves on board of Maine Guides Education Fund. He
spent 25 years as owner and operator of a family sheet metal
business in southern Maine before moving to Grand Lake Stream
full time in 2000.
Jeff is a 35 year strawberry grower who is now retired from
farming. He is a Master Maine Guide and owner of Georges River
Outfitters of Owls Head, Maine. He specializes in showing great
hunting and fishing opportunities of Maine to clients from all
over the world. Jeff is the president of the Maine Professional
Guides Association since 2009, and has served on their board of
directors since 1993. He has volunteered his time and service to
many other non- profit groups to help enhance and protect
Maine’s great natural resources.
Rick Hill is the former owner of Mt Chase Lodge at Shin Pond
since 1976. A collage graduate of Bryant University in Rhode
Island in business management, worked for the former Digital
Equipment Corporation in Massachusetts for five years as a
senior printed circuit designer, prior to moving to Maine to
become a Master Guide and lodge owner. He is a life member of
the Maine Professional Guide's Association serving as President
twice, and was instrumental in helping to form the Sportsmans
Forest Landowner's Alliance, still an active organization today.
Laney is a Registered Maine Guide, owner of Laneys Guide Service
for 15 years where he makes his living solely from guiding
hunting and fishing trips. At ice out Paul spends his days on
West Grand guiding salmon and lake trout trips, his summer
months are spent at Wheatons Lodge in Forest City. Late summer
Paul is busy guiding bear, grouse and woodcock hunts in Grand
Lake Stream. The winter months are spent guiding bobcat hunts.
Paul also spends a great deal of time training and working with
his beloved Plott hounds. He is Vice President of the MPGA and
also serves on the board of the MGEF.
